What was the highlight of Hotel Cassinetta

Conveniently located (in Vina del Mar) for visiting Valparaiso

We chose to stay in Vina del Mar (rather than Valparaiso) as we had a hire car and didn't want to drive in V. This hotel has on site, secure parking (a must for us after an incident earlier on our holiday when someone punctured our tyre as part of a scam). The hotel was easy to find and well located a 5-10 minute walk from the nearest metro station (from where we travelled to and from V). Breakfast orders are made the evening before and served in the conservatory. We had a spacious room (executive double) with a modern bathroom. Very reasonably priced for the room we booked.

The inside of the bathroom door needed a clean. We were charged for coffee pods on our second day i.e. they were not replenished when the room was serviced.

Wonderful

Beautiful property, garden and people. Elizabeth was a wonderful friendly and accommodating host. Highly recommended. Great value for the money.

Nothing Did not give it a for cleaningness because the door into the room was dirty of finger prints. Very clean not immaculate.

Comfortable, safe. a lovely street. Close to Valparaiso when run out of things to do at Vina del Mar

Location was away from the hustle, bustle and noise of Vina Del Mar and close enough to get around by foot or a very short trip by cab/uber. Short trip by car to Valparaiso. Comfortable and safe hotel.

Breakfast options were limited - possibly because there were not many guests during our stay.

A bit overpriced for the quality

Cute room and very hospitable receptionist. Close to the beach (not the main one, so less crowded)

The room didn’t have the aircon, was not cleaned properly (trash bin in the bathroom still full from previous guests), room view to the garbage bins, very basic breakfast and tiny outside area (common)

The Hotel Cassinetta is a great place to stay while visiting Vina del Mar.

The Hotel Cassinetta is in a beautiful historic home situated within walking distance to the ocean and many restaurants. Our room was very comfortable, and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating...especially Elizabeth!

Breakfast was very basic. Be sure to request a room with air conditioning. While the weather was beautiful, it was impossible to have the windows open due to all the barking dogs in the neighborhood. Fortunately, keeping the widows closed with the AC on muffled any outdoor noises.

Amazing experience!

The staff was wonderful before and after our trip (we left some things in our room and they contacted us as soon as we left). The room was immaculate, the outside of the hotel is lovely, and the location is just enough off the beaten path to be both convenient, and charming. We loves this hotel!

Excellent hotel with good service, the customers can have a satisfactory stay there.

Yes, the breakfast is good, but if there are salads and vegetables, it will be better. The sitting room has tea, hot water and cakes free for charge, it's very warm. The room is spacious, clean, and tidy, and the bed is comfortable. The hotel is very well furnished in an European style. The location of the hotel is OK, in a silent area, near the subway and bus station. The staff of the hotel are very friendly. I recommend this hotel to other travellers.

The breakfast should be more various.

Comfortable.

The room was wonderful and quite comfortable, the hotel very beautiful and the staff really helpful. Overall I think the experience and price were great.

Even though the location was good in terms of how near it was to everything. I did feel it was a nice street within a dangerous zone. I didn't feel safe walking to the hotel at night.

Very comfortable indeed!

A really lovely hotel with some wonderfully decorated shared leisure areas. The breakfast was very good, the room well decorated with a modern bathroom; we also had a nice outdoor roof terrace seating area - and the bed was super-comfortable.

Wifi very weak/intermittent.
